March VSTSUG Announcement

For an early heads up, the next VSTSUG meeting is going to be held on Thursday 23rd March. Same time and place. Check out the website for more details.

I am very happy to announce that Jeff Beehler, lead program manager of VSTS will be one of our speakers for the evening. Exact content is being finalised so I will let everyone know when I have the details. Whatever it is, Jeff's the man so you know it's gonna be cool!
Also, Queenslander Anthony Borton is in Melbourne doing some VSTS partner training and he will also be doing a session on Work Item Tracking so all in all, it should be a great meeting!

There will be reminders going out closer to the date so I hope to see you all there!

February VSTSUG Wrap

We had our Feb meeting earlier tonight and unfortunately our speaker Karl had to cancel his presentation at the last minute. The session rolled on quite well with the die hard VSTS community coming along and we had a good yak about all things Team Foundation Server RC, extensibility and I gave away most of my goodies!

Huge thanks to everyone who came tonight. You guys rock! I will do some follow up posts with the information we talked about regarding extensibility and power tools for VSTS.

I will also have details of our March meeting coming up shortly and it's going to be a biggin'!!!

TFS RC - First Impressions

So I have now become one of the many that has upgraded to TFS RC and I must say the process was really painless and easy (Your right Martin, it's no fun anymore!) . Following the install and upgrade guide made it a peice of cake so make sure you have a read of them before doing either. You can get an updated version of the install guide here (via Rob).

Great job to all involved in getting the RC out and also kudos on the doco supplied.

And don't forget to fill out the survey! T-Shirts may await if your quick enough.....
