A good entry on the SQL MP and a MOM 2005 FAQ

Pete Zerger has written an excellent "HOW TO" create a MOM task to dump memory usage of all processes.
Quite cool - http://it-jedi.net/how-to/task/runawayprocess/task_processprivatebytes.htm

I haven't been working on my HB scripts lately. I have been working with Virtual Server 2005.
I hope to complete my Heartbeat stuff next week. I won't be posting as much MOM stuff.
Make sure to watch the following blogs for MOM content:

Pete Zerger at www.it-jedi.net has an excellent article on changing all the different passwords in MOM
Due to the total lack of interest/assistance from other MVPs, I am tabling this effort.
If or when people wanna work on this, I will be open for involvement.
I have been asked a number of times if I will be going to MMS 2006. A new employee started in my dept. He will be going to MMS along with Mosby.
Since there aren't any discounts for MVPs for MMS, and I didn't wanna get trampled by the mad dash of Mosby fanatics, I won't be going.
I am currently working on a script that queries all active agents and checks their "Last Contacted" Date/Time. If it is more than 5 minutes old, it then verifies a "MOM Agent heartbeat failure" Alert exists for the computer. If and alert doesn't exist, it creates one. If an alert does exists, but is not in the "Active" Problem State, it creates another alert.
Once I finish this, I'll post it.
Anyone have additional ideas or concerns?
