I'd like to have some sort of webserver running on my PC to kick out a 1x1 transparent gif to any gif or jpeg request to 127.0.0.1. What small and simple webserver would you suggest for Win7 (Ultimate). It would have to be secure and lockable to only support request from the local host.(I'm sure you know why I would want this.)

Thoughts?

Thanks!

The banner ad at Bleeping Computer appears to be gone, you might want to remove it to lighten up the file just a little bit.

I found two sites that don't seem to be in the latest hosts file.  I got one of those annoying fake anti-viruses from simply going here:

verysighn.com/.../lena.php

It's obviously a fake Verisign site.  I believe the fake anti-virus actually came from here though:

free-antivirus.is.com/t

It would be great to have sites in here that block the fake-antivirus stuff, if there is not already.  I'm not sure.  Though I work in a computer repair store and there have been a constant flow of customers coming in with fake anti-virus problems.
