While prepairing the above update I stumbled upon yet another Malware group scamming Google ... (nothing new there)
Seems these culprits were able to exploit legitimate sites and post bogus links, pretending to be a .pdf file ...
Notice the "[PDF]" in the titles below ... well if you click the malicious link it leads to a malware install and not the expected PDF file.

As you can see the above links redirect the user to a bogus scan - "Windows Security Center" ... yeah right!

The culprits of this latest scam are included in the latest MVPS update ...
Speaking of PDF files ... seems there is yet another serious exploit discovered in the Adobe Reader.
Folks I haven't used the Adobe PDF Reader in years ... just too many (security) holes in their program ...
It's much safer to uninstall Adobe in favor of the Foxit Software PDF reader (freeware)
