Internet Explorer - PATCH NOW for SEP 2012 out-of-band security release

Microsoft quickly responded in patching a new vulnerability that started to be exploited in the wild.  Please patch expediently. Most folks using the automatic Windows Update settings have already applied this over the weekend.

QUOTE: Microsoft has released an out-of-band update fixing at least five vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer, including the recently disclosed zero-day vulnerability already being exploited in the wild.  The emergency patch applies to all supported editions of Windows desktop, including XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008, and affects Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, 8, and 9, Microsoft said in its patch advisory released today.
