SQL Down Under Code Camp - opportunities for new speakers
For the SQL Down Under Code Camp (www.sqldownunder.com) in October, we’re tossing around ideas for encouraging people that don’t normally speak at events to have a go. I’m thinking about one session each day that would be made up of 3 mini-sessions (ie: 15 minutes material plus 5 minutes changeover). The aim would be for it to be very practical in nature. For example, one suggestion was showing things like how to move system databases.
Thoughts?
If anyone is interested in being one of the six people doing this, please email me offline (at greg.low @ readify.net) and let me know what you’d like to cover. We’ll consider that along with the main session submissions we’re starting to look at now.
The draft session schedule should be up within a few days.
If you’re intending to come and haven’t let us know yet, please also email me offline. We’d love to see you all there. Tell your friends J
Regards,
Greg
