I was checking the new Xbox.com and found this little post about what an Xbox MVP is.

The Official Xbox.com Forums have launched.
With the launch of the new forums, the .Net portions of Xbox.com have also launched. Yes, that means that the "My Xbox" features HAVE launched. They will NOT be available until the Xbox360 releases.
Below, you will see the new Gamer cards that are available for you to put ANYWHERE you want. Yes, that even includes the active desktop of windows. I am not going to wait for a "widget" for OSX Tiger, and a "gadget" for Windows Vista.

Scoble is one of the many people that do the Channel 9 site. So, there was the Microsoft MVP summit Sept 28th-Oct 1st, 2005 in Redmond on the Microsoft Campus.
The Xbox.com MVPs had the ONLY access to the console, but, as Robert is, he was able to get a video of Major Nelson, the MVPs and of course...the Xbox360 Console.

Now, first let me say I am NOT prejudice in any way. What I might say may come off as that, but are not.
So, I read this story on Yahoo titled "Astros Roster Has No Black Players. And most of the article is what it seems. It is about how the Astros are 1 of 3 teams in Major League Baseball without a black player on the roster. What does it matter?
What does race matter? Do you NEED a black player on your roster? No, you need the best players you can find. I don't see what the problem of not having a black player on a roster is.
Look at the NHL. How many black players have you seen on the ice. I know there are more, but I think I have seem maybe 3. The current goalie of the New York Rangers, I know the Flyers had a black player on their roster within the last 5 to 6 years. Oh, but thats not a problem right? If it isnt, then it shouldnt be in the MLB.
I loved this quote from Joe Morgan: "Of course I noticed it. How could you not?". How could I not? I dont look at a player being black. If I look at stats, they are all the same to me. I could CARE LESS what nationality a player is. If he is good, he is good. If you want to say that Joe, what about the NBA. What about starters? There are less and less white people starting. Is this a crisis? NO, there just arent as good of players. Its something you learn to live with...some people may just not be the best.

Well...supposedly Time Warner and NBC are making a deal in which you can view a show's beginning later into the show (time-wise).
Say, Jimmy comes home at 9:30 and remember that West Wing is on...but REALLY wants to watch it. From my understanding you would be able to go to the beginning of the show and watch it. The stipulation is that once the show ends, you can not do this. I am not sure if you can watch the whole thing, evan after the show ends (saying that you started it prior to the end).

Another thing to do, is ready your PC to be able to stream media (photos/audio files) to the Xbox360. If you have an XP machine you can download Windows Media Connect 2.0 at Microsoft.com.

(I feel like Ballmer but) SERVICES SERVICES SERVICES!!!
With all these features that Xbox is talking about (Major Nelson's lastest blogcast), and with the new Xbox.com, services are THE BIG THING in this next gen.
Yes, you are going to say graphics...well, graphics are getting a big kick, and they will be better. But the chance of you seeing a big difference between the Xbox360 and the PS3 are miniscule.
What about processing power? You will not see any big differences in processing power. It may be because developers dont know how to harness it, or it is just too much, and it isnt needed.
So, you may know say that next generation optical drives gives PS3 a big advantage. It does IF (yes IF) Blu-Ray wins. If Blu-Ray wins, then it could be an advantage. Many people will like their own drives with more features. BUT, (theoretically) Xbox360 can handle BOTH HD-DVD and Blu-Ray via Media Center. Once you get a PC version of an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, you should be able to stream the high definition content from the next gen optical drives.
So...any real advantage hardware based? No.
So what really seperates the consoles? Games, yes...but most games are similar. SERViCES are the key. With the new Xbox.com, the Xbox.com forums, and the Xbox360 dashboard (which includes Media Center and so forth) are KEY for a the win in the console war.
Listening to Major Nelson's lastest blogcast, and the 2nd interview is with one of the devs (head developer I believe), they have just revealed that you can broadcast high definition content (TV that is LIVE/Reocrded, or any video for that matter).
I need to clarify it more, but I hope to have more info soon.
