Ambient Orb and code builds

This article about Orb showing the overall health of the build by Michael Swanson is one very cool article. But,.. Doesn't this lead to some sort of micro management? Having a build kick in every 15 mins. Around here, that orb will turn to an inferno!!! Cool article though!
