Microsoft promotes email authentication technology
During the Email Authentication Summit in Chicago, Microsoft announced that is working with other technology industry leaders to help promote the use of email authentication technology in order to stop the dissemination of spam and other kinds of unwanted messages.
For Microsoft this is of course one more opportunity to promote its own technology, Sender ID.
The Press Release Microsoft Furthers E-Mail Protection Efforts has also some interesting indicators about the growth in Sender ID adoption and the success of using this technology in Hotmail/Windows Live Mail.
