How to download Microsoft webcasts
Following my yesterday's post, wouldn't it be great if we could download the webcasts and watch them according to our free time? Well, Georgeo Pulikkathara posted the instructions to do that, based on a method suggested by Stuart Gunter and Janco Wolmarans:

- Open an on demand webcast as normal. For example go to: http://msevents.microsoft.com/CUI/EventDetail.aspx?EventID=1032244882&Culture=en-US.
- When you get to the live meeting wrapper, right-click and View Source in Notepad to find the following line of code: var WMFileName = "mms://streaming.placeware.com/aa4/SCG/web/r/mseventsbmo/b9v47bjd0g8wsm5k/wmm-11657/placeware.wmv";
- Copy the URL. In this example: mms://streaming.placeware.com/aa4/SCG/web/r/mseventsbmo/b9v47bjd0g8wsm5k/wmm-11657/placeware.wmv
- Open NeTransport and paste as new job URL into NetTransport and it works great!
Just make sure your firewall has the necessary ports open, otherwise it won't work.
