Comodo Firewall users who can't install updates for Vista

There is a report in several forums and newsgroup where a user can't install the security updates for Vista. Note:  Microsoft has released their monthly security updates on Tuesday.

The user is using Comodo Firewall (Free firewall) and it was found as the 'caused' of the failed update.

Comodo fixed this by releasing new version 3.0.15.277.  See the release notes at http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/release_notes.html and you can download the new version at their website.

# re: Comodo Firewall users who can't install updates for Vista

I have been using pctools firewall & have had all kinds of frustrating problems with vista authentication. After loosing some functionality (control panel etc), I  turned pctools fw off & was able to update (who knows). I currently have functionality for must part. But still am not 100%. I again using pctools fw but thinking of switching over to comodo. Or better yet, LINUX.

Sick of MS. I am not techie & dont need MS intrusions.
