Zone Labs added Spy Blocker toolbar on its ZoneAlarm Free firewall

I posted today at Calendar of Updates a new program update for ZoneAlarm users. It's v7.0.462.000

While viewing the change log of the freeware version of ZoneAlarm, I noticed they added an optional Spy Blocker toolbar for IE and Firefox which they said blocks spyware distribution sites and offers convenient search functionality.

ZA's FAQ says:

"Does the ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker toolbar track where I go on the Internet?

The ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker toolbar does not monitor or report back to ZoneAlarm information about where you are traveling when you leave the ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker toolbar service, or what you do on other Web sites." From this, I take it that it tracks your surfing.

It uses the Ask.com searchengine now.

The "optional" toolbar was prechecked and there was no extra info it uses the Ask.com searchengine. Only the fact that it says that this Toolbar provides extra Security. Yeah sure...
