Many are sure excited to get Vista as pre-installed in a new PC or by buying an OEM or retail copy of Vista!
All I can say is you are going to make a wise decision in moving from old to new Windows. Take your time and check out what edition of Vista is right for you. If you'll get Home Edition, you can always upgrade to higher and better edition. If you have the money now, go for Vista Ultimate!
