Symantec Earns Top Spot in Esteemed Customer Loyalty Report

Symantec today announced that an independent research report found Symantec to have the largest percentage of customers in the consumer software industry that are likely to recommend their software to a friend or colleague. Satmetrix, a leading customer experience management company, today released the Net Promoter Industry Report 2006 on the Consumer Software industry which shows that consumers rated Symantec ahead of the competition and received the highest Net Promoter Score overall based on key drivers such as overall value, overall product, and company reputation.

I sure wish I understood how these things were put together. I know so many people who disagree with any positive sentiments around Symantec -- corporate or home. I'm not suggesting the study is wrong, but I'd like to know how they arrived at their results.
