Stop-Sign Antivirus not high risk anymore as per Lavasoft

Lavasoft has decided to downgrade eAcceleration’s Stop-Sign Antivirus to a low threat item.

The Research department’s investigations of Stop-Sign have resulted in a change of the TAC rating from 7 (high risk) to below 3 (low risk).

Stop-Sign, previously listed as a rogue anti-virus product, used dubious installation methods such as drive-by installs without the user’s knowledge. The company eAcceleration has undergone reorganization in the recent past, making significant alterations to Stop-Sign so as to be considered a legitimate product warranting no detection by Ad-Aware.

I installed stop-sign and now I can't uninstall it!
Now IE and OE don't connect on my computer!
Perhaps Stop-Sign is itself a virus?
