Spywarewarrior.com is also spammed by a rogue anti-spyware vendor
On June 10th, the Calendar of Updates email account received an email from PCSecurityShield.com:
From: Affiliate Manager - PC SecurityShield
Subject: Interested in advertising on dozleng.com
Date: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 09:58:28 -0400

To dozleng.com,
My name is Adam Riff and I'm the VP of Affiliate Marketing for PCSecurityShield.com. I'm interested in speaking with you about advertising our products on dozleng.com.
I notice you have a competitor of ours as your top choice. I'm interested in taking over that spot. Our affiliate program offers great conversions, our payout is as high as $30 per sale and we provide unbeatable support.
I'm looking foward to your reply. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Adam Riff
Vice President of Affiliate Marketing
PCSecurityShield.com
I shared the said message to my co-administrators, ColdinCbus & Haroldo. We decided to respond to Mr. Riff on the June 11th by telling him that the Calendar of Updates website do not wish to sell a product that is currently listed as Rogue AntiSpyware in Eric L. Howes website. We also help him by providing the forum link of Spywarewarrior.com http://spywarewarrior.com/viewtopic.php?t=8084 where he can find the procedure or required steps on how to de-list their products from Eric L. Howes Rogue AntiSpyware page. I also informed Mr. Riff that the Calendar of Updates is a member of ASAP. ASAP members will not sell the products that is currently listed in Rogue/Suspect Anti-spyware Products and Web sites.
I didn't consider the above message as a spam message because they sent that message once only. After 2 months, we got another:
