There is an article around somewhere (sorry don't have a link) on MSN that will say something to the effect of "allows current DVD's to be streamed"

Where can I read about WMRM-ND? Is there an online article that discuss this AND...does it explicitly sate that it has been approved for streaming of commercial DVD

You wouldn't need it for a DVD that has been ripped, assuming CSS is no longer present. What you would need is an Extender that supports MPEG-2 at DVD bitrates [and all audio codecs] (eg, not the current Extenders). The Xbox 360 should change that, and we will get to see for sure in a few days (Nov 22, 360 launch).

This is great but would this also work for the rips of my movie collection? Only the movie file is contained in the rip.
