The included Sony software will batch rip CD's (I don't know if that works with Vista yet though). There is no way to truly bath rip DVD's.

No, sadly you can't stream to from the DVD Changer to an Extender.

Is there any way to use this to batch copy data cd/dvds?

Either the MCEtilities or the Media Changer itself?
