Very, very similar problem.

Have Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T-USB 2 installed with MCE 2005 on a VAIO 317S.

Playback of MPEG videos in Hauppauge, or Intervideo WinDVD is OK.

Within MCE or Media Player 10 I have horrible jumpy playback of Hauppauge
WinTV recorded digital TV MPEG videos.
Have tried to default to many drivers authenticated ... no help.
The problem seems to be Windows MCE 2005 or Media Player Ver 10 MPEG playback.

Recorded DVD's or Logitech Webcam recorded stuff is OK.

Am very perplexed .. anyone any help pleae ?

I confirm, while the KB article describes the symptoms I am seeing the patch does not address the problem in my case. Would like to know if anyone has a different result.
