Steve : MTV Networks pulled their apps months ago. I asked, never got an explanation. The last AOL app is also getting ready to go.

Is this the crappy 3FPS Sigma Designs chip thats in all the other extenders and all my MediaSmart TV's ??? Or are they actually doing something interesting here...?

Will we be able to stream the movies we have on our hard drive to this device? Will it pass Dolby Digital and/or DTS to this device? And, yes, can we watch our recorded TV shows?

I was thinking of getting the Series 9 HDTV when it comes out in August or September. Perhaps I'll look into also getting this extender. I like how the latest Samsung TVs display the weather, stocks, etc overlayed on top of your TV shows - a feature which I think Media Center should have incorporated a long time ago.

What happened to the ComedyCentral program that used to be in Online Services? Also I read Vongo is being canceled. When are we going to see new programs like YouTube that can take advantage of this.
