CoupleOfPoints: Movies platform implies physical disc movies. Streaming is exactly what they want. Reed Hastings (Netflix CEO) also sits on Microsoft's board, so this concept has been coming for months.

Interesting...

Didn't Microsoft state that they would "never" support a Blu-ray drive for Xbox 360 because the Xbox 360 is a _gaming_ platform, NOT a _movie_ platform?

Hmm... With this Netflix announcement, it would certainly seem that Microsoft considers the Xbox 360 a MOVIE platform!!!

So, where's the Blu-ray drive for this Xbox 360 _movie_ platform??
