looks great but I can't imagine pricing to be close to what everyone is asking for. I imagine it'll be over $1k+. which is a bummer since I'd buy it if it was cheaper

I am also very excited too. This has been a missing piece so far. My dreams of an automated and digital home are slowly becoming a reality.

It would be great to be able to use the panel as a way to create code alerts based on security events or weather events.

I am looking forward to pricing too.

Wow,

I am really excited about this. I have always wanted to delve into home automation and distributed audio, but could not afford to have a pro do it (I assume I can do this myself). I have ethernet all over the house, and running a few more lines of cat 5 if necessary is no big deal. Kudos to Embedded Automation, looking forward to pricing and actual availability.
