&lt;p&gt;My only real question is, even if I went with the 7300LE could I still use the CableCard to record in HD yet stream it to my XBox?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is the most irksome issue with the whole certification process, people like me that want the cheapest, barebones CableCard-capable recording server can't build our own, instead we have to wait for someone to decide to cater to the niche market and make it for us.&lt;/p&gt;
