MyTV Genie Recommends and Records New and Relevant TV Shows (Awesome!)
MyTV Genie | So, I
just downloaded this like 5 minutes and have yet to fully check it out, but I
had to let all of ya’ll know about it first.
Proxure
is at it again. First it was MyTV ToGo, which they sold
to Roxio. Then it was MCE Tunes, which bridges iTunes and Media
Center (Works
great by the way), and now MyTV Genie
is going to make you leave your TiVo for good.
For the first time, Media Center users can rate their
recordings with MyTV Genie, and then it recommends and records new and relevant
TV shows automatically! It also basis
this off of things you watch and record, so you don’t even have to worry about
rating them! It will take a while for suggestions to generate, so don't automatically think it's not working.
I still have to play around with it, but here are a few
screenshots. Oh, did I mention it’s free?
