Logitech Uses the OMS-TH540 HTPC to Showcase their Award-Winning Peripherals at CES

Okoro Media Systems, manufacturer of digital entertainment systems for the high end audio video market, is pleased to announce the technology partnership with Logitech. Logitech has elected to use the OMS-TH540 system to showcase their award-winning peripheral technology at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 8 -11.

At Booth #35512 in the South Hall of CES, Logitech will use the OMS-TH540 Digital Entertainment System to display a combination of all nine Logitech products honored with CES Innovation Awards, including the Logitech® Harmony® 1000 advanced universal remote and the Logitech® Z-10 Interactive 2.0 Speaker System. The company will also showcase its portfolio of award-winning peripherals designed to work with Windows Vista™, including the Logitech® diNovo Edge™ keyboard and the Logitech® VX Revolution™ cordless laser mouse.

“Logitech elected to use our TH540 because they liked our CE form factor design and technology philosophy. They also were very impressed by the interior build quality and felt that the options in the TH540 would showcase the functionality of their remotes, the 5.1 surround sound systems, and various other accessories very well. Logitech has been an industry leader in PC peripherals for years and it is an honor to be chosen to showcase their technology to the international community,” said Christopher Curry, VP of Sales and Operations.

The OMS-TH540 is a stylishly designed Digital Entertainment System that blends in with your current audio and video components. OMS-TH540 is based on Intel's next generation Core 2 Duo processor and comes with a HDCP ready HDMI video output for handling Windows Vista, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats. It also features DTS Connect and Dolby Digital Live High Definition Audio technology.

It is currently available for purchase with pricing starting at $2095.
