Companion Software Brings MCE to Any Touchscreen (CE Pro) | Julie just
posted about some new software from Niveus, dubbed Companion. It can grab
music, photos, videos, and recorded TV from the Media Center PC, then display
it on just about any touchscreen-enabled display. The product is included
on all of Niveus
Media's 2007 Models and can be had for free if you already have a Niveus
Media Center PC. Looks like the first real attempt at a “Softsled-ish”
product.
Currently you can’t browse the EPG, but Tim Cutting, Niveus CEO says you will
be able to come Vista.
