This card fills the need for a high quality dual analog PCIe TV tuner that Media Center enthusiasts have been waiting for. The Saber 2020TM is a multi-system analog card able to tune NTSC/PAL/SECAM making it usable virtually everywhere in the world.

The Saber 2020 TM uses the industries most advanced hardware encoder to provide a much clearer picture with a color true picture. SaberViewTM also allows you to record FM radio and play them on your portable music play pod.

Vista View’s VP of Sales & Marketing, Shimon Hirschhorn said "We are very pleased with the reception that the Saber 2020 has been receiving. Some users are excited about the cards being a dual tuner on the PCIe bus. Other users are excited about the quality of the picture. Well, I purchesed this card last week and have had a change to play around with it.

What do I think? Well, I think ViXS had to award Vista View with the board of the year design award.

There are some drawback, but in terms of compatability with ATSC tuners (NO OTHER ViXS board (PCI) works with ANY ATSC PCI tuner! -- None). Between my friends and myself we have tried the Nvidia DualTV with 4 vendors ATSC tuners -- none worked.

The color is great. A little more vibrant than the DualTV, clear and diagnal lines are smooth not jaggy.

CPU utilization remains under 22% while recording 2 shows through the A/V dongle (my system uses an AMD 4400+).

Audio is great, there is no distortion as I have had in the past with the Hauppauge 500.

If anyone out there is looking for a new dual tuner analog card or looking to replace their less then optimal current solution -- I suggest you rush to PCAlchemy or J and R and get one ASAP.

If anyone has any questions or comments, please put them down and I'll try to answer them.

-John

PS. The current $20 rebate is good for 4 per household!

I maybe want to buy this card, but i have some questions.

You said the card has some drawbacks, but what are they?

I can't find a lot of reviews of this card, why is that. Isn't the card selling that well??
