Consistent Vista Media Center UI Please

Just finished installing RC1 and everything has gone great (for once).  I haven't had the time lately to install every build but I noticed something I really didn't like in RC1.

For whatever reason, the Now Playing UI (for My Music) doesn't match the rest of the Media Center UI.  The background is blackish and very muddy looking.

Other then that visual problem, my RC1 setup has gone great.

Seems like it's trying to match WMP 11.

I just installed it (RC1) yesterday also. Am I the only one who things we are moving in the wrong direction? I would for almost all features prefer MCE 2005.

Agreed, (though I'm running the Pre-RC1 5536) I've noticed the same. But I do think this is intentional as this difference makes it visually clear when you are watching the actual playing content compaired to browsing through your library. Do I like it? Well, I like the idea but I'm not to happy with the choice of the background, they could have been a little more creative with it

I've noticed this and I actually don't mind it. The "now playing" background is darker, a bit more like a theater experience IMO. To me it's fairly pleasing. But I can understand why some people don't like it.

Anyone notice the following ?: Random freezes during SKIP forward and Backward during RECORDED TV ? Music Library crashes a lot if internet connection not connected and its building the library ? Black screens when playing DVB-T radio (audio onlY) ? Random covert art replacing FOLDER.JPG (from internet or from inside a music track). (Media Player 11 issue) ? Widescreen Monitor setup does nothing! ?

I like this change -- the darker background emphasizes the album art rather than the UI.
