that Microsoft officials say they are planning to release the Windows Media
Player 11 version for Windows XP in June.

Hawk seemed to be happy about the announcement, but I’m not sure that the
Media Library performance increases will come in this version. I think you will be waiting until Vista to get that performance jump.
