You posted these articles one day to late for me. I ended up using Sharepoint Designer to pull the data between the two WSS installs. I used cut and paste on the lists.

However, I can confirm that search is still working on my WSS2 site in full SQL2000 and also the WSS3 site on its standard install.

Maybe you want to RDP in and have a gander.

One last thing for your readers... that Microsoft do not mention... it is *much* easier to create your site using SSL from the get go if you are going to give remote access to it using the same self signed cert that SBS creates.
