The GUID to use depends on which PDF iFilter you are using. I am also assuming that different versions of one manufacturer's iFilter will have different GUIDs as well. I believe the {4C904448-74A9-11D0-AF6E-00C04FD8DC02} GUID relates to the 32-bit version. The GUID I have listed in my post relates to the 64-bit version of the Adobe iFilter (9.0). I found that GUID in this document on Adobe's website: www.adobe.com/.../configuring_pdf_ifilter_for_ms_sharepoint_2007.pdf (GUID can be found at the bottom of page 2). This document is targeted at MOSS 2007, but the GUID will obviously apply to 64-bit WSS 3.0 installs as well.
