&lt;p&gt;&lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896861"&gt;support.microsoft.com/.../896861&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Follow method 1 and enter the FQDN from where you access RWW. Works like a charm now.&lt;/p&gt;

I implemented the changes you outlined here to no avail. The 2436 event was still occurring every 5 minutes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What solved it for me was adding this registry value:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;[HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa]&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;DisableLoopbackCheck&amp;quot;=dword:00000001&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Which I found via a comment someone posted to the 2436 posting at eventid.net.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hope it helps others who find this blog.&lt;/p&gt;
