once you have the xpsp2 folder with all the contents, how do you roll out the sp2 to all your clients with sp1?

If you have clients already connected to the SBS2K3 server, how do they pickup the new SP2? as I've tried adding new computers to the sbs domain and they have SP2 installed no problem by the client apps wizard.

Hi Andy - So far I haven't deleted the wxpsp1 directory, simply because I don't have a space issue. However, since the 884032 fix cannot be uninstalled, there really isn't a need to keep the wxpsp1 folder around.

Do you then delete the wxpsp1 directory afterwards or do you just leave it there?

Forget my last post!! Seems like I did not relocate my ClientApps directory like I thought I did!! That's why it did not work!! Off to fix it!! THanks anyways!!

Thanks fo rthe great info above regarding the XP SP2 deployment. I did everything you said and then ran the deployment download (SBS2003-KB884032-X86-ENU.exe) but got an error because it said it could not locate the C:\ClientApps folder. Like you I moved the ClientApps folder on install to the D:\ drive and now the update keeps erroring out. Could you give me a pointer her eas to what I am doing wrong or how I can cure this. As long as the server & the workstations are the same language, you're fine. If you have an English SBS & Danish clients, then the update won't work correctly.

What if I have danish clients and apply KB884032
Will it still work. And should I use update.msi if it doesn't?
