This new model is going to be provided via the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF), which was covered in a session earlier this week. In short, MEF uses attributes to describe what a component either exposes (via [Export]) or consumes (via [Import]), and the framework takes care of the matchmaking duties.</p> <p>Looks like it&#39;ll be a simple matter of decorating your classes and dropping them into an extensions directory.</p> <p>In other interesting news, the entire VS2010 IDE is moving towards using WPF, starting with the core editor in the most recent CTP.</p> <div style="clear:both;"></div><img src="http://msmvps.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=1652459" width="1" height="1">
