New Tutorial – RIA Services Data Validation
Creating data validation code using WCF RIA Services has always given me a bit of a fit. No matter how hard I searched, I was not able to find a good, comprehensive treatment of the subject.
Enter Microsoft Engineer Jeff Handley who works on the WCF RIA Services team. Recently Jeff published a series of blog articles dealing with data validation. This is an excellent series and really covers the topic providing both code examples as well as insight that helps one gain a deep understanding of RIA Services validation.
With Jeff’s permission, I have created a new tutorial that exposes some of what Jeff has provided with example in VB rather than C#. I need to point out that Jeff’s blog articles include more information than my tutorial so be sure to read his articles for greater understanding.
