Embarrassing as hell…

After lunch today, rice and chicken something, i decided to head down to the bank for the rest of my lunch break. I’d nearly made it, with probably 50 meters to spare, when i started feeling a bit queasy – i stopped next to a bin on St Georges Terrace...

Happy Fathers Day!!

The saying goes "you are what you eat!"..Well, to me that's a superficial statement and i think it's far more important to remember "You are what you do!" instead. I'm a father of two beautiful, intelligent and well-rounded...

Back again – it’s been a while..

Haven’t blogged for quite some time – life, work and misc had caught up with me and i needed to re-group again. So what have I been up to lately? Well, i just finished off a project at Woodside, where I worked pretty much alone (part of a team, with an...

Home sick...god how i hate being sick!

It's been an interesting weekend to say the least. First my wife gets a sinus infection and is pretty much down for the count, even though she was up and about, active as a mom (she got stamina, she does). Then I start to feel a bit off on Saturday...

Ironic - driveacar.com.au

I simply love it when i see this particular type of irony (hypocrisy?) and i feel i should blog this story. This afternoon i went to Bunnings to get a new BBQ and as the store is only 5-10mins drive away i rarely get to see anything of this caliber. For...

In my earlier post i mentioned that my father-in-law had been rushed to hospital with a heart attack. Luckily he's recovered and is now home - much to the relief of my wife. So thanks to everybody who wished him well and for saving christmas!

I saw this mentioned over on Sahil Malik's blog and I'm starting to think I'm living in the dark ages where everybody but me can play an instrument (or all, as is the case with Carl Franklin) and sing. I'm seriously tone deaf and couldn't...
