Funniest code comment ever..

A colleague of mine sent me this little snippet of gold yesterday - it had me laughing like a drunken seal so i figured i'd share it.

// Dear maintainer:
// Once you are done trying to 'optimize' this routine,
// and have realized what a terrible mistake that was,
// please increment the following counter as a warning
// to the next guy:
// total_hours_wasted_here = 16

Priceless...have you seen any other funny code comments?

That is a great one, and I have worked in code that should have that comment block.  This is probably the funniest comment block I have encountered in code I was working on though:


//  Oh what a tangled web we weave

//  when first we practice to deceive.


I think that was my first week on a new job.  Didn't fill me full of confidence.
