Community Server has a bug? WLW not getting categories when updating/editing a post

I noticed lately that WLW wasn’t getting the “Categories” from Community Server when I was editing a post i’d published.

At first i thought it was a problem with WLW, but i have it from reliable sources that it’s only Community Server which seems to behave like this.

I wonder if there’s a problem with the implementation of WLW into Community Server, or if there’s a “bug” in retrieving data associated with a post in Community Server.

Hopefully our admins here will upgrade to Community Server 2008 and there’ll be a fix for it.

Yup, that's the plan.  Right now just arranging for some CS specialists to take a look at the SQL as we hit a snag during the upgrade.

www.msinfluentials is already on CS 2008 and as soon as I arrange the guys from 4-corners to look at the SQL issue we'll be upgrading as well.

Server will be offline tonight for maintenance to prep for the upgrade.
