Interesting blog - well written Tyler
Sometimes when you float around on the interweb, you stumble onto a site which catches your eye and you suddenly look up and find that you've spent 1hr reading.
This happened to me tonight as I was looking through the new Google Analytics interface. I was just having a look at different new features when i see a referrer to my blog that i hadn't noticed before. Am pretty sure it never showed up under the "old" Google Analytics UI.
Now it wasn't Google that caught my eye, no, it was the site which had referred 1 whole person to my blog..
First off, I'd like to explain what types of blogs captivates me when there's millions of them out there..i like technical, controversial (the ones that doesn't just jump up and agree with everybody) and those that form an opinion..Tyler's blog is one of those that hit two of those categories..Technical and one that shows Tyler has an opinion.
I managed to read back to July 2006 through his archive and it was quite interesting. Tyler has quite a few technical posts in there, which in many instances goes above my head (it's not code, so it mostly goes phoof with me), yet i stayed and read quite a few of his posts.
The blog - yes i know, should have mentioned this before..www.computerdefense.org
It's written by (well according to the "About" section anyways) Tyler Reguly, a 24 year old self-proclaimed geek living in Toronto, Canada and it's just hit my FeedGhost big time.
Anyways, well written, fluid and captivating..pretty much says it all..and considering that i was stuck for almost 1hr reading i'd say that statement isn't quite wrong.
My humble opinion of course..check it out and have a read..if you don't like it, your loss (seriously!), if you do..well, it's a win then isn't it.
