Hi...

Well I'm at the hotel in Amsterdam and SMB Nation has just finished in the last hour or so... many thanks to Harry and the gang (and many speakers) for an entertaining couple of days...

Good to meet so many familiar names...

But on to my point...

A couple of us here have been discussing the SBSC certification and how we can work to ensure 'value'....

And we thought... why not pinch a piece of this:

And introduce 'peer' review in order to obtain/renew SBSC membership?

A kick start from MS would ensure that the majority of reviews (if not all) would be done by SBSC members... so it then becomes in our own interest to ensure that a minimum standard is met and retained...

We realise it's complex... but would be interested to hear all of your thoughts! :)

I would add that there are also partners who do not deploy SBS for their customers because they aren't familiar with SBS or feel that SBS is "inferior"... ultimately costing their customers hundreds if not thousands of dollars more.

But heck, since they are deploying separate servers which require more maintenance and upkeep, they are keeping themselves in business... as long as the customers don't find out!
