Hip Hip Horray!

I've been getting spammed, but it hasn't been too bad (with the exception of that one morning when I had over 200 new items . . . ugh).

I'm not sure they expect people browsing the comments to follow the links as much as they're trying to improve Google page rank by increasing the number of web pages that link to their sites . . .

Spam - not just for e-mail anymore

There are several reasons that spammers try get e-mail out to anyone that will read it - it sells. People continue to click on the stupid things, and with such a low cost for sending (read none). All they need...

Great addition to the blog Susan - in fact I only just noticed the other day a spammer had added to my blog a list of gambling sites to choose from! I guess they figured owning & running an IT based company wasn't enough of a gamble :)
How long before we get the electric shock devices built into mice & keyboards so that when someone goes to produce more rubbish they get a "little buzz" to make them think twice...
