I am also an old friend of NT Server 4.0 and will miss him dearly. We have shared many great times together and have helped each other through a lot of jams.

I still remember the time some Intel NIC driver came along an tried to hurt NT. But through a little sweat and hard work on both our parts, we got through it. Indeed, we got through it.

NT, I will miss you. I will miss you dearly. But fear not, for you have accomplished what every parent dreams of accomplishing: raising your children to be better than you in every way. And I assure you, with your sons, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server, you accomplished that dream. They improve upon you in every way and have been a pleasure to work with.

NT, there will always be a place in my heart for you. May you decompile in peace.

Love Always,
James Summerlin

re: Windows NT 4.0 Server 1996-2004

It's not 2005 yet, and some of us are *still*installing NT4 on servers. Why not wait until it's really dead so you don't completely jinx us?

Steve :-)
