&lt;p&gt;IE patches need to reboot the system. &amp;nbsp;SBS 2003 with all of it&amp;#39;s parts rarely has a patch month that doesn&amp;#39;t demand a reboot.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you want to reduce rebooting a system, run less stuff on it like Server Core.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You are rebooting once a month now on your SBS 2003 if you are patching. &amp;nbsp;It&amp;#39;s reality now.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;?!?!?! Are you kidding me? I guess not. I don&amp;#39;t mess with pre-production software so I haven&amp;#39;t tried my SBS 2008 yet but if you say its necessary, I believe you. I&amp;#39;ll have to wait for my October Action Pack to arrive before I can really get into all of the 2008 goodness. Oh well, I&amp;#39;ve been waiting this long...&lt;/p&gt;
