" Important

Unlike previous versions, the Windows® Small Business Server 2008 server software (Windows SBS) requires a 64-bit server. Windows SBS 2008 does not support a 32-bit processor architecture.

This guide tells you how to migrate an existing Windows SBS 2008 domain to Windows SBS 2008 and then to migrate the settings and data. This guide also tells you how to remove your existing server from the Windows SBS 2008 network after you finish the migration. "

Kinda contridictory

I'd recommend 4 gigs either in one kit or 2 2gig kits shown there."

I'd have a really hard time spending $500 on something that old.

Do you know if there's a migration for SBS 2003 WSS 3 to SBS 2008 WSS 3?

Thanks for all the useful info on the new release.

You can also do a migration for AD objects using ADMT and judicious use of RunAs with the /netonly switch.

The Beta/RC EULA specifically prohibits use in a live environment, so it's not only supported but it's a violation of the license terms. Unless you've got something like a TAP agreement.
