Capture the market then jack up the prices.

This is cleary MS is doing ...

Is'nt virtual server still free while VMware is still alive :)

Well now that we knwo what to expect, how does one go back to not allowing certain clients from accessing the web. It's just a real pain without it oh well manual config here we come.

So we lose ISA, Outlook and Outlook CALS, and Microsoft increases the price, and not by a few bucks I might add, yet we (SBSC/SMB folks) are suppose to go flying out the door to buy it?

Look they took what $1,500 ISA out. Outlook CALS are what $15/ea if broken down (heck I don't know since when did we last buy any) but if that number is right we just lost another $1,125 worth of value. So we lose 2 grand worth of product yet we are suppose to pay 80% more for it?

Get over it Microsoft there are other solutions!

Susan I really don't understand how you can keep defending Microsoft's poor product quality of late, total lack of control of what is going out on WU/WSUS it appears and now taking away a huge amount of product value yet making us pay more for it.

Heck time to get all our customers on MAPS it appears since Microsoft doesn't appear to care who is legit MAPS users and who isn't anyway.

BTW as to the PC backup it was certainly talked about by enough Softie's that everyone clearly felt like it was in the product just as much as SCE was at one point.
