If you're not in Vlad's "fab 5," you're worthless. If you're not an iconic industry leader, then in Vlad's book you are a complete waste of his time. And most likely a newbie who just started out and is almost destined for failure. Dude, lay off the pipe. And get some sleep.

I will be there at SMB Nation, along with a wide variety of people worth knowing, networking with, learning from, and all around having a good time. And many of those HAVE been in the business a while.

Funny, I've never been called worthless by a vendor before... If that isn't writing on the wall...

Completely agree with you Susan in "quite frankly Vlad, the conference isn't there for the likes of you and me. It is there for those still seeking the answers."

Which quarter of the conference covers the community.. the one that belongs to the Microsoft, the one where people have paid for the slot and are doing "Best Practices" using their products or the one of the attendees eating in the parking lot? :)

Yes, I'll turn my back on that "community". And all of the "impressive" people I listed still do consulting work.
