Pushed out the Oct 8 patches to a test PC via WSUS yesterday with no problems. Last night all of the other PC's on my network got the updates. All loaded without issue.

This house has no confidence in October 2013 MS13-081 and its spawn.

Current theory/guess: The October 2013 .NET updates double reboot quirk/mistake causes the MS13-081 updates and more to lose their sequence and install in random order where only one order is valid.

The .net updates do not cause a double reboot.  2862330 can kick a second reboot.

    2864202

the amount of waisted time and really poor Microsoft support for this update issue is so frustrating. I have spent hours attempting to fix this and it makes it worse when you get the circle of crap advice from the Microsoft experts. being referred to the page you have just come from is the worst.

My loyalty to Microsoft is now misplaced, if I could I would sue. your updates make things worse and unusable. 4 months Microsoft is a joke.

    Dougie.

Hey Dougie?  I've not seen KB2864202 be one that has a lot of issues.  KB2862330 yes but not 2864202.  Because of that we don't have a lot of guidance for you.
