Microsoft you are blowing it
Today they announced the retirement of the Technet subscription. I am NOT a happy camper about this. It impacts patch management testing, it impacts partners who got the Technet subscription as part of the Action pack subscription.
So Microsoft, if you are retiring this... how about you step up to the plate and ensure that every Microsoft partner has access to a downloadable ISO for OEM versions of operating systems and Office versions. How about you live in the real world of everyone not being in the cloud and still having enough premise needs for a while and stop acting like the bully you are beginning to turn into.
On this vacation of mine (that is coming to an end) I have seen ipads used as cameras, I've seen iphones and androids, I've seen NO windows 8 operating systems - anywhere- so your view of the future where we're all using cloud based systems, the way you keep acting and pushing people that use your products away with your recent attitude, this action is just another nail in the coffin.
Bottom line, I am not a happy camper about this decision one bit.
