Well someone is working on the download site.

Well someone is working on the download site.  Now when you go to "all Downloads"  on www.microsoft.com/downloads it automatically changes to search for t* (just that) and then sort by date.

Richard from thundermain.com has updated his rss feed to match that sort.  So far in my tests I think it's finding the downloads now.  I'll keep an eye out to confirm if there's anything missing.

So if you put that in your favorite RSS reader you too can keep track of what is (hopefully) everything that gets posted to the download site.

I was on the support site looking up a download for KB2541763 and it took me to the Microsoft Download Center, and it wanted to do validation.  So I let the check go on, and afterwards I don't get the download...instead, I get taken to Microsoft Canada's front page.  Unbelievable!

I ended up getting it from the Windows Update Catalog site.

Likewise, on my iPad, I haven't been able to get updates for a few apps in the last 48 hours.  All I get is "iTunes Store can't process purchases right now.  Blah blah blah".  These are FREE downloads!

How does searching for anything that begins with the letter "t" find everything ?
