When downloading SBS Essentials from the eval site you might want to run a Sha1 test to make sure that the download is a good download.

I can't wait until Windows 8 includes support for mounting ISO's natively.  If that functionality is exposed via WinPE/Setup, you could plug that external hard drive in with all of your MAPS ISO's and just mount the one you need to install without fiddling with DVD's or "burning" them to thumbdrive.  Dumping them to thumbdrive takes time - and a lot of drives....

You would only come across that oemsetup.inf problem if you changed it for a custom scripted install.

Out of curiosity what brought this issue up ? Did you have a corrupt download ? Should we check everything we download ? Is the Internet corrupting downloads ?
